A car owned by a 55-year-old man from Paphos was damaged in an arson attack inside his garage early on Sunday.
According to police, the fire started, at around 4.20am. The car was parked in the man’s garage next to his house at the time.
The blaze, put out by the fire service, caused extensive damage to the car and the garage. Police said it was clearly arson as a flammable substance was found.
Flammable liquid was also found on the owner’s second car, which was parked outside the house.
