A wildfire in Miliou, Paphos destroyed some three hectares of shrub, dry grass, and trees the fire service said on Tuesday.
The blaze in the Ayios Photios area broke out at around 1.15pm and was put out at 4.30pm.
Four water-dropping aircraft also took part in the effort, which was hampered by the strong wind blowing in the area and the rough terrain.
Firefighters will remain in the area as a precaution.
A preliminary investigation showed that the blaze started in two fronts. The cause is under investigation.
