The Paphos Criminal Court has found a 60-year-old British man guilty of sexually exploiting and sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl.
The court found the man guilty in six out of 13 charges relating to sexually abusing the minor at various times.
The case has been adjourned for June 23 when his defence will plea for leniency. The mitigation hearing will be followed by sentencing.
He was arrested in September last year after the case was reported to Paphos police.
According to the report, the defendant had sexually abused the child between June and August 2015.
The girl told a relative about the abuse, who reported the case to police.
The trial was held behind closed doors.
