Police on Thursday nabbed two persons suspected of robbing an elderly couple in the village of Polemi, Paphos district.
The incident occurred around 1.30pm. According to the police, the two suspects -aged 50 and 56- took €200 in cash from the couple, a 90-year-old man and his 88-year-old wife.
The two suspects fled the scene in a rental car, but were quickly intercepted by police.
